One time long ago..

I haven't visited the Bronx zoo since I was a child. The one time I went was as a family get together.. and i remember my dad getting a flat tire which delayed us for about an hour. I remember I was so excited to see my grandma when I got there. I can't remember anything inside of the zoo when I was a child.. But I got to experience it all again(3/18/11). I'm glad I got to share this experience with my boyfriend because even though I couldn't have gone back with my whole family, I had him.

When people asked me how was the zoo, I don’t believe my words could have expressed my happiness while I was in there. I sound overly dramatic but it made me feel young and happy, made me happy because it bought back a piece of memory I had with my grandma when she was younger and healthier.

i

this was perhaphs the hardest scene to be in, this place smelled like poop and it was deadly. I couldnt believe that this giraffe was in this place, not outdoors.. I couldn't even take this photo, kin had to.. cause the smell was so UNBEARABLE. gosh. Never again in here, At least maybe.. I'll be ready next time.

alone

yes, leave me alone. I am in a bad mood. I do have an attitude problem today. Its cause I wake up to knowing someone has worn my damn rainboots. How am i supposed to wear my rainboots when your supposed to wear it when it rains.. and someone wears your pair everytime it rains?.. fuck.

And every time I ask for a favor it takes you a month. U want me to do something its done. Fuck.

I am in a bad mood. someone was smoking on the train while I was on the way home. What the fuck..

Silence is RELIEF.

Kittichai

It's been a year since the last time I have been to restaurant week since we did not make it to the one last summer. This year, I wanted to definitely try River Cafe but it was sadly quickly booked up. Next time (In the summer!), I already know to call ahead of time to check on that. After that hope was lost, I just wanted something french, so i resorted in my best and favorite, L'e cole, to find out they were all booked too for lunch. So I just opted to look down the list and found this place named Kittichai. They serve Thai cuisine and of course, fine dining style, which is loveeee. On that day, of course it had to snow the night before and the streets were covered in nothing but snow and slush! The dress attire for the restaurant was Smart Casual I believe.. So i dressed up a bit with a pair of wedges and resulting in that, my toes were cold and covered in snow. When we do get to the restaurant, we see people wearing regular shoes and boots.. At least the staff who worked there looked nice and I didn't feel totally overdone. The ambiance was so beautiful. It reminded me of a upgraded and polished SEA. The meal was great and a good worth of $20 bucks each! For some reason, it was cheaper in this restaurant, lunch prefix menu's were at $24.07. What made me a happy camper was the fact that Kin was Full and not hungry, like he usually is from french food. All in all, it was a beautiful date and I felt like a hot couple walking down soho all dressed up in slushy new york city. Now for photos! :]

the lovely pond, which makes the restaurant!
Appetizer - An eggplant salad w/ chili and garlic + all that jazz

Snowboarding - 1/22/11

From what a few of my friends have told me, I would have thought snowboarding would have been torturous. The fact that two of my good friends denied invitation to go again, just scared me a tad bit more. So last week I went snowboarding for the first time. The only first thought that came to mind was that nobody told me how slippery the board would be on the snow. I was not ready for how fast I was heading and it freaked me out to the point where I had my hands digging in the snow to slow me down. After a few runs up and down the lifts and lunch, I started to get the hang of it. I learned how to slow down and stop. Kin and I were discussing how we did pretty good for two people who have never been and did not let frustration stop us. I made him high five me haha. I think I did hurt my knee though, because after i straighten my knee from bending it too long, it feels painful. I also did not know that the soreness would not go away, till after FOUR long days later..! But hey, to me, it was friggin worth it. Seeing everybody fall on their faces and bottoms, it was a great time and I cannot wait to go next year!

Me and Kin
Getting the hang of snowboarding felt great
But did falling hurt like heck!

Sex and the city

I haven't had anything to watch lately and guess what I've been watching.. Sex and the city. Never have I thought that this show would actually be good, but wow it is entertaining. I love how this show has such a big, big, big theme on woman in relationships. These are strong women who have strong beliefs in their dating lives and the four females are portrayed to be fabulous living life in NYC trying to find the perfect man. These gals just make me want to have more fun, since I am in the beautiful city of New York, (well when i'm 21) But what I love most about these ladies is their friendship, they are so close, best friends, even in their 30's. I hope to have what they have when I am at their age, having a blast and close girlfriends still.
